Your photos stay on your phone

3. Create your Insurance Renewal File
A PDF with your answers, dates, notes and photos, organized by zone.
Answer at least one step to create your file.
4. Save and share it
- Save it: on a computer, click "Download PDF". On a phone, tap "Share or save to Files" and choose "Save to Files" (iPhone) or "Drive / Files" (Android).
- Ask first: call or email your insurance agent and ask what wildfire or mitigation documents they accept.
- Send it: attach the PDF to an email to your agent, or upload it to your insurer's online account if they offer one.
- Keep receipts: send any invoices for tree trimming, vent screens or roof work along with it.
- Repeat each year: come back about 60 days before renewal and make a new, dated file.
This file was prepared by the homeowner using the free Doma Guard wildfire checklist. It records the homeowner's own answers and photos. It is not an inspection, a certification of mitigation work, or a guarantee of insurability, coverage, renewal or premium. Your insurance company decides what documentation it accepts and how it is used.
